The territory in Spain consists of 17 automous communities with a capital city, a flag, a coat of arms and an anthem. There are also two autonomous cities ( Ceuta and Melilla).
There are 50 provinces and two archipelagos: the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.
Europe is located in the Norther Hemisphere. There are 50 countries. Each of them have their own official languages, flags, customs and traditions.
Only 27 European countries belong to the European Union (EU). The official currency of the EU is the euro, but only 20 members have adopted it.
OBJECTIVES OF THE EU: to promote cooperation, economic growth and security for the nations of Europe.
VALUES OF THE EU: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality and respect for human rights.
