• Living organisms= animals (fauna), plants ( flora), microorganisms (fungi, bacteria, protists...)
• Physical components= sunlight, air, water, soil (rocks, minerals), temperature, climate

• HABITAT= a place where a particular plant or animal grows or lives.
• POPULATION= group of organisms that belong to the same species.
• COMMUNITIES= interactions between populations

 

  

Biodiversity is the variety of living organisms that are present in an ecosystem. Biodiversity creates balance in the ecosystem. A single change in the ecosystem can have an impact on all the organisms with in it. This balance can be affected by:
